My project includes flexible seating options to help my students who need some more sensory input while they work. I primarily work with children who have a difficult time processing sensory information, and these seats will give them more options to use to help them get comfortable in our room and feel more regulated while they are learning. The other half of my project includes Tru-Colour bandages for most of my students are African American. My students have shared that they have never been given a bandage that is truly skin tone. As a white woman, this never occurred to me until that moment. Please help me give my students a product that they can see themselves in, and one that will give them another tool to help self-regulate. Thank you for your help.
