My ELA classes keep a notebook and this year, I decided to move back to paper and pencil. I wanted students to be able to be creative and every item donated has helped with that!\r\n\r\nMy seniors complete a High School Senior Portfolio in class before they graduate. I already have some creativity being inspired by our new materials! I was able to purchase a cart with drawers to hold all the paper and supplies and they are thrilled to have access to all the new things. They do not have lockers, so having the materials in the room is truly important.\r\n\r\nMy students also read the novel, Dreamland Burning, and created a timeline of the 1920's as well as character analysis diagrams using the materials donated.
