Since children are often in the middle of the action, using the Tattle Phone is providing them with an outlet that doesn't disrupt class. The new weighted blanket is being utilized during our daily rest time to help some students bodies and minds calm down by helping providing deep pressure stimulation to their nervous systems which helps it slow down and react less. \r\n\r\nThe weighted goose stuffy works similarly and is being utilized during group carpet time/whole group lessons as well as during center time in our library center.\r\n\r\nThe various Needoh fidgets provide tactile sensory input that allows students to focus their energy on a physical action like squeezing, squishing, or pulling, which can help to reduce restlessness, relieve anxiety, and promote a sense of grounding. We are utilizing these throughout our day as they are available to any student at any time.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity we are able to provide many more options of sensory tools to more students simultaneously. As a result we are already seeing students demonstrating an increased ability to self regulate!
