These may seem like simple items, but they allow our students to safely participate in cooking and sewing activities while building confidence and independence.\r\nFor many of our students, these hands-on experiences are something they may not have the opportunity to do regularly at home. Being able to measure ingredients, follow a recipe, practice kitchen safety, use different cooking appliances, and work together to prepare food turns a classroom lesson into a real-life learning experience. Our sewing supplies will also allow students to practice skills such as basic stitching, repairs, and creativity through textile projects.\r\nYour donation is helping us create a classroom where students can learn by doing, make mistakes safely, work as a team, and discover skills they can carry with them for years to come.
