It was incredibly meaningful to see them take ownership in setting up a space designed to support their peers.\r\n\r\nEven before the first day of school, these resources are making an impact by helping us create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where students' basic needs are met with dignity. The care station will provide easy access to items like snacks, feminine hygiene products, and personal care supplies so students can focus on learning instead of worrying about what they may be missing. Seeing students so engaged in the process of preparing these resources showed just how important and appreciated this support will be.\r\n\r\nAs we move into the school year, this space will become a consistent and trusted part of our library. Students will not only benefit from the items themselves, but also from the message behind them: that they are cared for, supported, and valued.
