The equipment has helped us add more variety to our workouts while giving students additional ways to improve their strength, movement, and overall fitness. One of my favorite moments was watching students encourage one another while learning how to use the new items. It created a positive environment where students were excited to participate and proud to represent our school.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were excited and immediately wanted to know when they could begin using them. Their reaction showed me how much new resources can increase motivation and make students feel valued. The school-pride items were especially meaningful because they helped make our fitness space feel more connected to Grandview.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue teaching students how to use each item safely and correctly while tracking their progress throughout the semester. Students will set personal fitness goals and use the resources during full-body workouts, partner activities, and small-group challenges.
