We are using the wobble seats during small-group instruction and independent work to help students who need movement while learning. The headphones provide students with a way to reduce distractions and focus on their individual activities. One of my favorite things has been seeing students use these tools to help them stay engaged during lessons. These resources are helping us create a classroom where students with different learning and sensory needs can feel comfortable, supported, and ready to learn!\r\n\r\nMy students were so excited when they saw our new classroom materials! The wobble seats were an instant hit, and everyone was eager to try them out. They loved discovering that they could wiggle and move while still participating in their learning activities. The headphones were just as exciting, especially for students who sometimes find our busy classroom a little overwhelming. It was wonderful to see their excitement over something that will make such a meaningful difference in their school day!\r\n\r\nAs we continue working on building foundational academic skills, classroom routines, and independence, these new resources will play an important role in our daily learning. Students will continue using the wobble seats during small-group lessons and the headphones during independent activities to help them stay focused and engaged. We are also working on helping students recognize what they need to be successful learners and encouraging them to use these tools independently. Our goal is to help every student feel confident, comfortable, and successful in the classroom. We are so thankful to our donors for helping make that possible!","fullyFundedDate":1772415647396,"projectUrl":"project/helping-little-learners-wiggle-focus-a/9882485/","projectTitle":"Helping Little Learners Wiggle, Focus, and Shine!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Heberlie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9912450"},{"teacherId":9060352,"projectId":9623165,"letterContent":"I had some complications initially with using our tablet as the school could not support the tablet for WiFi, as it was not compatible with the district. My students are now able to listen to stories, sing songs, and explore language in a hands-on, interactive way. It has helped build their listening comprehension, vocabulary, and love for reading—skills that are foundational at this early stage. I've noticed an increase in their focus and excitement during story time, and they've even started retelling stories to one another, showing how much they're absorbing.\r\nBecause of the materials provided, I was able to create a more dynamic and student-centered classroom.
