What may seem like a few simple classroom and recess supplies has made a meaningful difference in our students' everyday school experience.\r\n\r\nHaving a class set of calculators means students no longer have to wait, share, or search for a calculator when they need one. Instead, they can immediately use a tool to check their work, explore mathematical ideas, and become more confident in their own problem-solving. The calculator holders also help our students practice responsibility and independence by giving every tool a designated place.\r\n\r\nOur new recess equipment has made an impact beyond the classroom, too. Basketballs, volleyballs, and kickballs give our students more opportunities to be active, try new activities, and play together. Recess is an important part of the school day, and having equipment available has helped create more opportunities for teamwork, friendship, and simply having fun.\r\n\r\nThe Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards have also allowed me to add fresh, engaging resources specifically chosen with my students in mind. These resources give me additional ways to provide meaningful practice, small-group instruction, hands-on learning, and review activities throughout the year.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this donation reminded my students that people and businesses in our community believe in them and want to see them succeed. That message is powerful.\r\n\r\nSonic didn't just help us purchase supplies—you helped give our students more opportunities to learn, grow, play, and become independent learners. Our rural classroom is incredibly grateful for your generosity and for the investment you made in our students.
