My students are using the new rewards as motivation for completing assignments, staying on task, making positive behavior choices, and working toward their individual goals. For many of my students, having something positive to work toward makes a big difference in their willingness to keep trying when schoolwork feels difficult.\r\n\r\nWhen the news of our coming materials arrived, my students were so excited to learn all of the items they could earn! We talked about how the rewards are not simply \"prizes,\" but a way to recognize their hard work, progress, and positive choices. It has been especially rewarding to see students who normally struggle with motivation become excited about earning tickets and working toward something they really want.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments has been watching students proudly use their tickets to choose a reward after accomplishing something they had been working hard on. Seeing their excitement and hearing them talk about what they are saving their tickets for has helped create a more positive atmosphere in our classroom. These small moments remind my students that their effort matters and that they should be proud of their progress.\r\n\r\nRight now, we are continuing to work on staying organized, completing missing assignments, building academic skills, and becoming more independent learners. Our next steps are to continue using the incentive system while helping students set individual goals and recognize their own growth. I am so grateful that you chose to invest in my students.
