Due to budget cuts and variety of surprises since this project was funded, we are even more grateful you helped when you did. We are one month into the new school year and are working with our students and teachers to get new teams formed and running.\r\n\r\nThe students are starting to explore FIRST and what core values means as well as how to work as a team. Students have begun to learn basic programming and about environmental issues, as this year's theme centers around biodiversity. \r\n\r\nOverall, our teachers and students have been floored with generosity of complete strangers that cared enough to step up and find this project. Start two new teams can be daunting, especially when finances are tight. The adults have been worried about all the expenses and thanks to this project we were able to take the largest expense off the students. Thank you again for stepping up and investing in our community.
