The backpacks gave students a sense of responsibility and pride in their role as student technology leaders while helping them stay prepared and organized.\r\n\r\nMore importantly, the backpacks helped reinforce that their work matters. Student Tech Team members are developing leadership, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and technology skills as they assist with real technology needs around our school. The Jackery power station allows us greater flexibility to use our laser equipment in different learning spaces, while the rotary attachment gives students the ability to personalize and engrave a wider variety of objects, including cups. Students are developing creativity, precision, problem-solving, design, and technology skills as they turn their ideas into finished products. These experiences also introduce students to entrepreneurship and real-world career opportunities in design, manufacturing, technology, and small business.
