It has been a blessing to have some of the items to assist with keeping our hands, surfaces and classroom clean. We are able to wipe down tables and chairs, after each use. There is enough hand soap, Kleenex and hand wipes to keep us safe in our own spaces. This flu season has really been hard on some of the students. They have had to stay home for fear of infecting their classmates. At least in our classroom, we are able to take some precautions to keep the spread of germs from going around. This hands-on experience has not only enhanced their understanding of plant biology but has also fostered a sense of responsibility and teamwork as they work together to nurture the garden.\r\n\r\nThe moment my students first laid eyes on the materials, their excitement was palpable! My students immediately began discussing who was most excited to plant, while others started sketching their ideas for the garden layout.
