Using technology has been proven time and time again in providing highly-engaging lessons and activities, and allowing students to take the lead in what they are learning. Having access to more technology by use of the Kindle Fire and its educational apps will help my students enhance their vocabulary, improve their spelling and grammar skills, and provide them with research tools to improve their voice in writing. Literacy and writing skills are needed throughout life. I want to help each of my students to improve and excel with these skills. Who knows?The next Langston Hughes or Maya Angelou just might be sitting in my room.
