As a third-grade teacher, I rely on high-quality instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of my students. Having access to a copier in the classroom has allowed me to quickly create differentiated assignments, intervention materials, small-group resources, and hands-on activities tailored to my students' individual learning needs.\r\n\r\nThe copier has also saved valuable instructional time. Instead of waiting for copies to be made elsewhere, I can immediately provide students with the materials they need, allowing us to stay focused on learning. This has been especially beneficial when preparing last-minute review activities, assessments, and enrichment opportunities.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, the copier helps ensure that every student has access to the resources they need to be successful. Whether students are working on grade-level skills, receiving additional support, or being challenged with enrichment activities, I can provide the right materials at the right time. Thanks to this generous donation, my students have more opportunities to engage in meaningful learning experiences every day.","fullyFundedDate":1628814738836,"projectUrl":"project/do-you-copy-me/5625281/","projectTitle":"Do You Copy Me?","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. M.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2961695_orig.jpg?crop=1290,1290,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1772331192967","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/n-malone"},{"teacherId":2961695,"projectId":5625320,"letterContent":"The donated Reading Plus subscription had a significant impact on my students' reading growth and confidence. My students were able to engage with personalized reading lessons that met them at their individual skill levels while providing the support and challenge they needed to grow as readers.\r\n\r\nThrough Reading Plus, students strengthened their reading comprehension, vocabulary, fluency, and critical thinking skills. The program's adaptive nature allowed each student to progress at their own pace, making learning both accessible and motivating. Many of my students looked forward to their Reading Plus sessions because they could see their own progress and celebrate their achievements.\r\n\r\nThe subscription was especially valuable for students who needed additional reading support, as it provided targeted practice and immediate feedback. It also helped my higher-achieving students continue to grow by offering increasingly complex texts and comprehension tasks.\r\n\r\nAs a result of this resource, my students became more independent readers, developed greater confidence in their abilities, and showed measurable growth in their reading skills. The donation provided opportunities that extended beyond the classroom, helping students build the literacy skills necessary for long-term academic success. We are incredibly grateful for this investment in our students' futures.","fullyFundedDate":1629200482160,"projectUrl":"project/building-students-love-of-reading/5625320/","projectTitle":"Building Students' Love of Reading!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. M.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2961695_orig.jpg?crop=1290,1290,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1772331192967","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/n-malone"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_14647","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":501,"numTeachers":32,"percentFrplEligible":76,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":43,"percentWhite":37,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":1,"percentMultiracialImputed":11,"gradesServed":"K - 3","studentTeacherRatio":"15.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":54.8,"schoolId":14647,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Harrison Central Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Harrison Central Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/mississippi/harrison-county-school-district/harrison-central-elementary-school/14647"}
