One of my favorite moments happened last week during our \"Focus Friday\" activity: students rotated through stations with such enthusiasm, proudly grabbing a snack before settling in to tackle their tasks. It was a simple addition, but it transformed the atmosphere into one of calm, confidence, and readiness to learn.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the bins filled with snacks, their faces lit up. Many of them asked, \"Are these really for us?\" They were excited, surprised, and genuinely grateful. For some of my students, having a dependable snack available removes a quiet but significant stressor from their day. You could feel the room shift—suddenly, they felt cared for, supported, and seen.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these snacks will continue to play a meaningful role in our current lessons. We are beginning a new unit that requires sustained focus and collaborative work, and having these resources helps students stay energized and engaged. Your kindness has not only brightened their days but has also strengthened their ability to learn with confidence.
