Instead of simply using an electronic device, students get to explore how its components work together to produce sound. This hands-on experience connects to computer science, engineering, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Students are learning that technology is not just something to use, but something they can build, understand, and create themselves.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for students is getting to build their own Bluetooth speakers and see their work come to life. They are excited to connect their devices, test their speakers, and experience the results of something they assembled themselves. This project makes learning more interactive and gives students a chance to apply classroom concepts in a fun, meaningful way.\r\n\r\nStudents who enjoy hands-on activities and learning by doing have especially benefited from this project. It gives them an opportunity to explore their curiosity, work through challenges, and build confidence in their abilities. Students who may not always feel connected to traditional lessons can discover new interests when they have the chance to create something tangible. Most importantly, this project helps my students see themselves as future innovators who can do more than consume technology. They can create it, too!\r\n\r\nThank you for helping make this experience possible for our students. Your generosity is giving them an opportunity to learn practical technology skills, explore new interests, and build confidence in what they can accomplish.","fullyFundedDate":1790476549003,"projectUrl":"project/build-it-connect-it-diy-bluetooth-tech/10681551/","projectTitle":"Build It, Connect It: DIY Bluetooth Technology","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Wilson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10560294"},{"teacherId":10560294,"projectId":10679025,"letterContent":"The headphones, laptop charging bank, and snacks have made a meaningful difference in our students' ability to learn and stay engaged. The headphones allow students to focus on videos, lessons, and interactive activities without distractions, while also giving them the ability to work at their own pace. \r\n\r\nThe laptop charging bank helps ensure that students can continue learning even when their devices need to be recharged, reducing interruptions during class.\r\nStudents are especially excited about having their own headphones because they can listen to lessons and educational activities in a way that feels more personal and engaging. The snacks are also a wonderful addition because they help students stay focused and ready to learn throughout the day.\r\n\r\nStudents who benefit most are often those who need a quieter environment or extra support staying focused. Having headphones and reliable access to technology helps these students feel more comfortable, independent, and confident.
