Students are now able to recognize figurative language more easily in other writing as well, and they enjoy pointing it out when they find it.\r\n\r\nBy using this book you so kindly donated, the experience was more interesting and more fun. Students collaborated, tested ideas, and problem-solved in real time, showing persistence and creativity throughout the process. This project helped bring engineering concepts to life in a meaningful and memorable way.\r\n\r\nThese materials have opened the door to more outdoor STEM investigations, allowing students to learn through movement, teamwork, and hands-on exploration. Students were thrilled when the box of books arrived. The book was a great fit for our figurative language unit.
