Because of your support, my students were able to complete a highly successful rubber band car investigation that exceeded both their expectations and mine in terms of the distance the cars could travel. With access to a variety of rubber band sizes and wooden dowels of different widths, students were able to design cars that traveled over six meters!\r\n\r\nThe materials generated a great deal of excitement among students and allowed each group to fully explore their design ideas. I had sufficient supplies for each group to use two to four wooden dowels, depending on their car's design. The hot glue was also extremely helpful, as it allowed all groups to create strong, durable connections between the car bases and bodies.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, the remaining materials will continue to be used with future classes for the rubber band car project. The cars that were constructed are made with quality materials and serve as excellent models for future students to reference as they design and build their own cars.","fullyFundedDate":1753912184260,"projectUrl":"project/vroom-vroom-rubber-band-cars/9272923/","projectTitle":"Vroom Vroom!
