There has been a seamless integration of this resource into our classroom in reading, writing, health and social studies.\r\n\r\nWhile learning about opinion writing, we were able to read the \"debate\" section of each article and compare arguments. During the election, we used the digital materials to cast our votes. In social studies, we learned about heritage months and indigenous celebrations. It has put an endless stream of nonfiction texts at our fingertips!\r\n\r\nNext quarter, we will be writing research papers, and I am excited to use the scholastic materials to support this as well. It has been a perfect supplement to our learning this year and we are putting it to good use.
