We pride ourselves on meeting our students wherever they are, and with your help, we are able to offer students quality outdoor gear to keep them warm and dry so they can make happy memories exploring the prairie grassland, the oak forest, and the pine forest. \r\n\r\nThanks for your generous donations! Our wonderful bins of warm socks and warm mittens for students to borrow are filled up so the top. We used these warm socks already last week when several students were feeling chilly with the sudden cool weather in the mornings. Soon, as the weather cools even more, we will be using these items each day, and washing them between each use. With this fund, we even purchased several pairs of extra-wide socks for those students who have wider ankles- warm socks for all! \r\n\r\nThis Donors Choose fund goes hand-in-hand with our excellent stash of existing snow pants and warm winter jackets, hats, scarves, sweatshirts, rain ponchos, and our on-site washer and dryer.
