With your generous donation we have been able to read stories that encourages risk taking, mistakes and how we learn from them as well as including others. My learners have began to include new friends and are challenging themselves to try new things. When we are frustrated we are working on the social emotional skills we have been learning about in our read alouds and are able to take calming breaths and try again. \r\n\r\n As we begin our third month of school, we have been able to use the prizes as rewards for achieving our class goals. To earn the prizes we have challenged ourselves to do our personal best, and not rush through our jobs. Act responsibly, when we make a mistake we own it and not make excuses. Work and play safely whatever we are doing we do our best and work hard so we can get to the fun stuff. Show respect to everyone we meet including ourselves and classmates.
