I strongly believe that children learn best through play, and these resources have been a true success, keeping them engaged even after the lesson had ended. It was so special to see each child's reaction, especially because I had certain manipulatives in mind for specific students, and watching their faces light up confirmed how meaningful they were. One moment that stood out was a student who has been struggling to learn the alphabet; through playing with the ice cream set, he not only sorted by color and practiced sequencing with support, but also engaged in sharing and imaginative play. What I had planned as a math activity naturally extended into literacy and social development, and seeing that kind of growth has been incredibly rewarding.","fullyFundedDate":1776451373486,"projectUrl":"project/math-lovers/9967126/","projectTitle":"Math Lovers","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lopez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10336809"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_74545","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":686,"numTeachers":47,"percentFrplEligible":30,"percentAsian":10,"percentBlack":11,"percentWhite":55,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"14.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":60.0,"schoolId":74545,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Diamond Path Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Diamond Path Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/minnesota/rosemount-apple-vly-eagan-196/diamond-path-elementary-school/74545"}
