With your donation, I was able to provide a bilingual English-Spanish dictionary to each and every one of my students, with extras for a classroom set. Each student was thrilled to take this gift home for their continued learning. \r\n\r\nAs silly as dictionaries may sound, in this technology-forward world, using paper dictionaries is an important skill for our multilingual learners. It requires knowledge of letters and sounds, skills related to reading books, patience, critical thinking, and creativity. It's allowed my students to step into their power and use the dictionary to find the exact word their looking for. These dictionaries have made my students much more independent, not constantly asking for translations of words. Not only this, but they collaborate to find words and enjoy simply using the dictionaries. \r\n\r\nAgain, we as teachers simply could not do this without your support.
