They were used to using paper and pencil, but with little training, our students (and parents) were able to load the scouting program and easily track a specific robot and what it did or didn't do on the game field. \r\n\r\nWe were able to use the program offline as internet was not to be used in the competition venue. Later in the morning and afternoon we would sync the tablets so our lead mentor was able to analyze the information. The tablets enabled us to have streamlined data where we were able to make strategic decisions. \r\n\r\nThe Amazon tablets ended up being such a powerful tool for our scouting process, organizing the data, and making informed decisions to helped us in the alliance selection.
