As school budgets continue to get tighter, it is nice to have donors who help teachers maintain their standards for classroom activities and experiences.\r\n\r\nIt was fun to see my students so excited about the decorative lights. They love to work on their Chromebooks by the glow of the lights. It's unbelievable how calm and peaceful it is in the room with just this small change.\r\n\r\nThroughout the year, I try to give my students choice in their assignments and projects, so I need to freshen my marker and colored pencil supplies often. My students participated in book clubs this year where they had choice in which novel they read. After completing their novels, they also had choice in which final project they completed to show their learning. As many students used paper and art materials as those who completed online options.
