For the month of September, I transformed the stand into a grocery store, and when my new kindergarten students walked in for our orientation day, so many of them flocked to it right away. I also received so much positive feedback from families about how excited they were to see it!\r\n\r\nMy students use these items in our dramatic play stand every day during our Choice Time. The dramatic play stand is by far the most popular place that kids want to go during this time and I love watching my students learn and grow through this play. It has been so rewarding to see their creativity, collaboration, and excitement come to life!\r\n\r\nMy plan is to transform the stand into a new experience each month to keep things fresh, engaging, and exciting for my students. Here is what I have planned for the next few months:\r\nOctober: Apple/Pumpkin Stand\r\nNovember: Italian Restaurant\r\nDecember: Bakery`\r\n\r\nI can't thank you enough for helping me make a dream I have had for several years a reality! This special space is already making such a positive impact on my kindergarten students, and I know it will continue to bring joy and meaningful learning experiences to my students for many years to come.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your incredible generosity and for supporting my classroom. They absolutely love taking turns being the cashier, grocery store workers, and customers. I love watching my students learn and practice so many social-emotional and academic skills through play during this time.
