The students were especially thrilled to open the supplies—markers, crayons, and fresh pencils are always a big hit, and having a new pencil sharpener has already made our daily routines smoother and more efficient.\r\n\r\nOne of the most memorable moments was when we introduced the caterpillars. The students gathered around with wide eyes, full of curiosity and wonder. Watching them observe the caterpillars up close sparked so many thoughtful questions about life cycles and nature. Pairing this with our plant-growing materials has allowed us to create a hands-on science experience where students can see growth and change happening right in front of them.\r\n\r\nWe've started a classroom project focused on life cycles and habitats. Students are keeping simple observation journals, drawing what they see and describing changes over time. The butterfly habitat has become the centerpiece of our room, and students check on it throughout the day, eager to notice even the smallest changes.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our next steps include continuing to track the caterpillars as they form chrysalises and eventually emerge as butterflies. We'll also be caring for our growing plants and discussing what living things need to survive. These experiences are helping students build connections between what they learn and the real world in a meaningful, lasting way.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving our students these opportunities to explore, observe, and learn through hands-on experiences.
