Brainpop Jr. is a website that has videos in all subject areas. Once you click on one, it breaks it down even further. The site is easy to navigate and has a wealth of information. \r\nJust this week, I've used it for teaching synonyms and antonyms from the language arts section. This helps support the teaching I'm already doing in class. The students absolutely love the characters Annie and Moby. By the end, they are always giggling. Not only is it engaging, but it really does reinforce our core content concepts. \r\nI also used a video from the math section. It was all about comparing numbers and went perfectly with our math lesson on greater than, less than, and equal to. I am truly grateful to all who supported us and made this happen for my class.
