Having a space in the classroom to gather outside of a desk is very important to me. In the past, students have stayed seated on the floor or even just stayed at their desks in their chairs for read aloud. With a colorful, inviting carpet, my students will be ready and willing to join me to listen to stories, work with other classmates, and learn lots about any and all subject areas! Having this carpet area is a great way to make the classroom feel more like home and make our class feel like family.

About my class
