Our second semester reading intervention groups have gotten started and the students are very excited for all of the prizes in our prize box (which means they are excited to do homework). \r\n\r\n I just want to share an example from a student I saw this morning. His classroom teacher says he rarely brings anything back to class that has gone home. Homework, notes home, permission slips, etc. On the second day of his math group he brought a homework page back. And he plans on bringing back homework every time I pass it out. Because he has a plan of what he wants from the prize box. He has a list of the first 5 things he is going to get. He is also making a plan on how to keep his homework page safe at home and how to actually get it back to school. This is huge for him. And it's all because he wants a mechanical pencil (green), then a mechanical pencil (yellow), and then animal erasers. He is so excited to get these fun school supplies that he is creating a plan to complete his homework! And your donation has made his excitement possible.","fullyFundedDate":1767111992860,"projectUrl":"project/help-make-homework-fun/9947212/","projectTitle":"Help Make Homework Fun!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Robinson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3234404_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1505660455516","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3234404"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_59461","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":255,"numTeachers":20,"percentFrplEligible":85,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":8,"percentWhite":66,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":13,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"4 - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":78.9,"schoolId":59461,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about North Shore Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"North Shore Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/south-haven-public-school-district/north-shore-elementary-school/59461"}
