The moment our students laid eyes on the new supplies, their faces lit up with pure excitement and disbelief and it was a reaction that reminded us exactly why these resources matter so much. Students who are typically reserved came alive, eagerly reaching for materials and jumping into creative exploration without hesitation. The Play-Doh has become an instant favorite, with students sculpting, building, and expressing their imaginations in ways we hadn't seen before. Bingo Daubers have opened up a whole new world of color and pattern-making, giving students a fun and accessible way to create bold, vibrant artwork. We have been incorporating these materials into both structured lessons and free creative time, allowing students to develop fine motor skills, self-expression, and confidence. The photos we've shared capture genuine joy with students fully engaged, hands busy, and smiles wide. These materials have made art feel exciting and accessible for every learner in our classroom, regardless of skill level. The impact of your donation goes far beyond the supplies themselves and you have given our students the gift of creativity and the message that their learning matters. The two playground benches provide a safe and comfortable place for children to rest, take turns, observe their peers, and regulate their emotions during outdoor play. For many of our students, especially those who may become overwhelmed or need a short break, having a designated place to sit makes a meaningful difference in their ability to successfully participate in recess.\r\nThe benches also support social development. Students use them to sit together, talk, and problem-solve, strengthening friendships and communication skills in a natural setting. In addition, the benches give staff a designated place to supervise more effectively, ensuring student safety while remaining accessible and engaged.\r\nThe locks included with this project ensure that these resources will remain secure and available for daily use. Being able to lock the benches to the fence protects them from damage or removal and helps guarantee that they will continue to serve students for years to come. This donation has had an immediate and lasting impact on our school community by improving outdoor learning, promoting student well-being, and creating a more supportive play environment.","fullyFundedDate":1764786246399,"projectUrl":"project/benches-for-little-breaks-and-big-imagin/9604920/","projectTitle":"Benches for Little Breaks and Big Imaginations","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fila","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9483430_orig.jpg?crop=639,639,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1709316442994","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9483430"},{"teacherId":9483430,"projectId":9366207,"letterContent":"Thanks to your incredible generosity, our Pre-K classroom was filled with laughter and excitement during our Bubble Party celebration! The bubble machines, wands, solution, and party supplies you provided helped create a magical experience for my students. As soon as they saw the bubbles floating through the air, their eyes lit up with pure joy. Some ran around trying to catch them, while others stood in awe, reaching up and giggling as the bubbles popped above their heads. It was a truly unforgettable moment that brought smiles to every face.\r\nWe used the supplies to host a special end-of-year celebration, giving students a chance to play, explore, and just enjoy being kids. Many of them had never seen bubble machines before, and their reactions were priceless—wide eyes, happy screams, and non-stop laughter. It was a moment of carefree fun that they will remember for a long time.\r\nYour kindness gave us more than just supplies—you gave us a shared memory, a reason to celebrate, and a chance for our students to experience something new and exciting.
