Once the stools arrived, we immediately introduced them to our students and modeled how to use them safely and responsibly during lessons, independent work time, and small-group instruction.\r\n\r\nThe wobble stools have made a noticeable and meaningful difference in our classroom environment. Many of our students benefit from flexible seating, and these stools have given them an appropriate way to move while still staying focused on their learning. Students who previously struggled to sit still for longer periods are now able to remain engaged during instruction. We have seen improvements in attention, participation, and overall classroom behavior.\r\n\r\nBeyond the academic benefits, the wobble stools have also supported our students socially and emotionally. They feel more comfortable in their learning space and enjoy having a seating option that meets their individual needs. Several students have shared how much they love using the stools because they help them focus and feel calm while working.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has truly enhanced our classroom and directly supported our students' success. We are deeply grateful for your investment in their learning and well-being. Thank you for helping us create a more inclusive and engaging learning environment for every child.","fullyFundedDate":1757616278476,"projectUrl":"project/wiggly-fourth-graders/9668064/","projectTitle":"Wiggly Fourth Graders","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. H","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10066632"},{"teacherId":6771484,"projectId":8989000,"letterContent":"Your generous contribution helped to make electric circuit work so much more engaging for our students this year!! The kit allowed kids to not only make circuits easily, but helped them to explore other loads besides light bulbs. They experimented with an alarm and an electro magnet as well.\r\n\r\nPrior to using this kit you funded, working to make circuits was fraught with problems for the kids. Often the bulb holders and battery holders would be bent. This kit uses AA batteries, so a little less power but a lot easier for the students to manipulate. This kit also comes with many other accessories for students to experiment with.\r\n\r\nWhen I unveiled the kit, the kids fought to have a chance to use the materials! They even chose to do it over using their lap tops! They came up with their own inquiries to test. I think the picture says it all.","fullyFundedDate":1735424493119,"projectUrl":"project/energy-makes-things-happen/8989000/","projectTitle":"Energy Makes Things Happen!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. J","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6771484_orig.jpg?crop=550,550,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727194773895","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6771484"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_61107","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":340,"numTeachers":24,"percentFrplEligible":17,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":87,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"3 - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"14.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":91.2,"schoolId":61107,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Oxford Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Oxford Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/oxford-community-school-district/oxford-elementary-school/61107"}
