Time For Kids Magazines will be used as we explore types of informational text. It will give my students experience in reading a periodical. While my classroom library is full of wonderful texts, Time For Kids will offer my students timely information on current topics. We are inquirers and our curriculum requires students to prepare for a special individual research project that they present to our community in 5th grade. We call it exhibition and not only do students research a topic they must also take action on it or come up with a solution to a problem they see.
