All grades, K-9 have been impacted in such a wonderful and marvelous way! As soon as I brought the ukuleles out for them to see, they were all rejoicing and jumping for joy! \"Can I try one? Please, please Mrs. Pointer?!\" Each student had the intimate opportunity to hold a ukulele in their hands and play it. This moment will be forever etched in my mind and heart. Thank you so much for helping make this moment so precious to these students.\r\n\r\nSlowly, our classroom is beginning to be filled with instruments and percussion manipulatives so that the students will get a complete experience in music class. They are all excited when they walk in the door and the question I am always asked is if they can play ukuleles! \"I want the pretty ones we just got, Mrs. Pointer!\" Your donation to purchase these beautiful ukuleles has definitely changed and transformed the atmosphere in my teaching classroom. The students are given the exploratory time each class and although we need to take turns, they are very respectful and grateful to wait because they know they will get a turn to hold, learn and play their ukulele. The ideal teaching time is for students to be in partners and help each other learn. You have helped me and these students have this learning environment. I am forever grateful to you all and very appreciative. \r\n\r\nI am thankful that Donors Choose has created this space for teachers like me to achieve and receive what is needed to help teach more effectively and with the tools needed for every student to learn with fervor and creativity, exploration and opportunity.\r\n\r\nI truly could not have given \"a Ukulele in every child's hands\" without \"your\" help and giving.
