The Tonieboxes have quickly become a favorite tool in our classroom. In a school setting, audio technology like Tonieboxes serves as an engaging bridge to literacy. It allows students to listen to fluent reading, hear rich vocabulary, and follow along with books independently, which builds both comprehension skills and reading confidence without relying on screen time.\r\nThe tactile and interactive nature of the Tonieboxes is what excites my students the most. Being able to physically select a figure, place it on top of the box, and control their own listening experience makes story time feel like play. They love gathering in our reading corner, placing the characters on the boxes, and following along in their books as the stories come alive.\r\nThis technology has had a special impact on our emerging and reluctant readers, as well as our English language learners. Having a screen-free, self-directed way to practice listening and reading has given them a sense of independence and pride. Students who used to hesitate during independent reading time are now eager to grab a Toniebox and dive into a story.
