It has also allowed them to understand things more reading through the books such as Patience. Students are understanding their emotions more and what they mean. The first couple of days they were super excited about it and everyone was wanting to have a spot plush on their desk to show how they were feeling. The multi cultural books came in the right time as I have an ELL student who really enjoyed the stories that brought his cultural to the class.
