My students are ready for the next step in their musical/drumline journey. They started with rhythm sticks and chairs, and then were ecstatic when they were able to use real drum sticks and buckets. They have been working on the foundations of reading music, rehearsing, and even performing. These kids are dedicated, hard-working, and committed to using music as a tool to grow as a person. These drums would be utilized each day by our students, and will serve as the foundation for our band program. These students will make up the first ensemble ever.

About my class
