The Math Marketplace game will give our students an opportunity to practice important functional math skills in a fun and meaningful way. They will be able to work on counting money, making purchases, adding and subtracting, making choices, and problem-solving—skills they can use in everyday life. Having a game that makes math feel like a real-world experience will help our students build confidence while making learning enjoyable.\r\nThe fidgets, whiteboard, and dry erase markers will also be valuable tools in our classroom. Fidgets can provide students with an appropriate way to manage sensory needs, increase focus, and help them remain engaged during instruction. Our whiteboard and dry erase markers will allow us to make learning more interactive by modeling lessons, practicing skills together, and giving students opportunities to respond and participate. These supplies may seem simple, but they will have a big impact on creating a classroom where our students feel supported, engaged, and ready to learn.
