The excitement in the classroom was ecstatic, particularly when we discovered the Twister game, Jenga, and Magna Tiles, among others.\r\n\r\nWe faced several consecutive days of cold weather that prevented outdoor recess. Typically, this would lead to disappointment among the students. However, this time was different! The children were genuinely thrilled to remain indoors and engage with their new recess items. It was heartwarming to observe them eagerly exploring the various games.\r\n\r\nI was particularly impressed by the way the students took turns playing Twister, ensuring that multiple groups had the opportunity to participate. Additionally, they had a fantastic time constructing bridges and other structures with the dominoes. Many students also enjoyed collaborating with their peers while playing the Sequence Letters game, fostering both teamwork and creativity.\r\n\r\nOverall, the introduction of these new activities has significantly enhanced our indoor recess experience, transforming what could have been a disappointing situation into a delightful one.","fullyFundedDate":1733240046784,"projectUrl":"project/inside-recess-rescue/8627078/","projectTitle":"Inside Recess Rescue","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Carpenter","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2120783_272x272.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1472756490764","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrsscarpenter"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_67809","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":347,"numTeachers":12,"percentFrplEligible":81,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":89,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"28.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":80.6,"schoolId":67809,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Columbiaville Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Columbiaville Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/lakeville-community-school-district/columbiaville-elementary-school/67809"}
