I was shocked to see my project funded and was so excited to have the resources needed to try some new projects in my classroom.\r\n\r\nMy students were able to use the gum drops that were purchased to make pyramids with for our Ancient Egypt unit. This was a new hands-on activity for them and they loved the change-up in lessons. \r\n\r\nThe tape measure that was purchased will be used for upcoming units. In my Ancient Greece unit, we have a classroom Greek Olympics competition, so the tape measure will be used to measure any throwing competition we have.
