THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! The students at Hopkins Elementary School LOVE the sensory table that you donated!! I will be switching out the contents of the table monthly. For the month of February, I died rice pink, red, and purple and filled the table with the rice and lots of little gems. The children loved exploring in the rice. For the month of March, I died macaroni noodles green and placed the noodles along with gold coins in the sensory table. April and May will have sand and sea shells in the table, as we look forward to sunny summer days!\r\n\r\nWhen children need assistance with self-regulation, they can choose from a menu of activities. The children OFTEN chose the sensory table. It is very calming and organizing for the sensory system to explore the different textures and have a reset before continuing on with the rest of their day. THANK YOU for providing this opportunities for my students!
