These materials will be used to help students learn important Social Emotional Skills that are necessary at the lower elementary level. The teachers will be able to use the mentor texts to help teach a concept and then follow up with an activity that helps them to practice that concept. \r\n\r\n All of these books were researched and found to enable all students to feel welcome using the 7 strengths of; belonging, curiosity, friendship, kindness, confidence, courage and hope.
