Thank you for taking time to support this project!\r\n\r\nWe have been able to use the materials ordered for many classes in the building and also for students that are on my special education caseload. Students at the Grant Primary Center were so excited to see the new blocks and creative materials that were bought! There are so many options of materials that we had to rotate some of the mateirals to ensure students do not get overwhelmed. What a great problem to have!\r\n\r\nStudents have been enjoying creating forts, building spaceships, houses, and other fun ideas. The students have been working together to see how tall the creations can go and lots of laughter is heard when the creations topple over and they quickly start rebuilding. Teachers who take students into our SEL room to play with the fort making materials have noticed that students are using skills such as working together, planning an idea together, taking turns, and working on how to handle all the emotions that come up while working as a team.\r\n\r\nWe developed our SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) room with the idea of taking groups of students to a space to work together, connect, and work through problems and these materials have really made the space special. Students love the building, creating and re-adjusting plans. The Grant Primary Center truly appreciates your support in helping to supply materials for our space.
