Our students work so hard every day! They deserve a comfortable spot to make that work and learning happen. This project, if funded, will provide my students this year, and for years to come, with seating options that will support their moving bodies and help channel their thinking to maximize learning. Research has shown that students who are not confined to one seat or desk and are encouraged to move and wiggle, will do better academically as well as socially. The seating choices will create an inviting, homey environment so that students grow to love the classroom space and enjoy being there each and every day.
