Your generosity has brought exciting new toys and learning materials into our Early Childhood Special Education classroom, and my students were thrilled when they saw them. They couldn't wait to explore the new choices, and it has been wonderful to watch them engage in meaningful play while building communication, social, fine motor, and problem-solving skills. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who rarely interacted with peers choose a new activity and invite a classmate to play, giving them the opportunity to practice taking turns and communicating together.\r\n\r\nThese new resources are already making a tremendous difference by providing engaging ways for my students to work on their individualized goals through play. As we move forward, we'll continue using them to encourage independence, peer interactions, language development, and creativity during choice time.
