Your support has filled our art room with excitement and possibility, and my students have already been putting the new resources to amazing use.\r\n\r\nOne of the first projects we created with the acrylic paint pens was a series of colorful landscapes on mini canvases. The students loved the freedom of free-choice art, and the joy on their faces as they proudly shared their tiny masterpieces was unforgettable. We also used pastels to design desert scenes, where students explored blending techniques to capture warm skies and dramatic shadows.\r\n\r\nAnother highlight was our recycled Tiffany lamps project. Students painted reused materials with acrylics and added real working battery lights—the moment they lit up their lamps was pure magic! And with scissors, yarn, and felt, students let their creativity shine by sewing stuffed \"pop tarts\" and experimenting with doodle weavings.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students got a peek into artmaking that felt new, fresh, and exciting. Our next steps include expanding these projects into a student-led gallery walk, where each young artist will display and explain their process to others. This will give them the chance to share their voices and take pride in their growth.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making our art room a place of discovery, joy, and creativity. You've helped bring so many smiles, and I am truly grateful for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1746574695698,"projectUrl":"project/artrageously-creative/9290085/","projectTitle":"ARTrageously Creative","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Werner","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3033162_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1449262596236","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3033162"},{"teacherId":3033162,"projectId":9214082,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of Model Magic clay for our art classroom! Because of your support, each of my 1,000 students has had the opportunity to get hands-on with this versatile material, and it has been nothing short of inspiring.\r\n\r\nWhen the boxes first arrived, the students' eyes lit up with excitement. Many had never worked with clay before, and the simple joy of squishing, rolling, and shaping the Model Magic was a moment I'll never forget. Right away, we dove into projects ranging from colorful clay snakes to pinch pots, bowls, and even mini succulent gardens. Each creation was unique, and the pride students felt in their work was evident as they shared their pieces with one another.\r\n\r\nYour generosity gave my students a peek into the world of sculpture and three-dimensional art—an experience that will stick with them long after the projects are finished. As our next step, we plan to build on these foundational clay skills by working collaboratively on larger projects, such as class \"clay gardens\" and themed displays that showcase how art can bring a community together.\r\n\r\nThank you again for opening the door to creativity and imagination for so many young artists. Recently, we used air-dry clay to sculpt unique birds and mini cactus creations. The excitement on their faces when they first touched the clay was priceless—many of them couldn't believe they were making something so special with their own hands.\r\n\r\nAnother favorite has been our tea light Tiffany lamps. Students loved experimenting with color and design, and the finished projects glowed beautifully. We've also been using twistable crayons to create vibrant masterpieces, which let students explore blending and layering without the frustration of broken crayons. For my younger kindergarten students, the sorting tools have already become an important part of learning—they help little hands stay organized while giving students a chance to work more independently.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my classroom is filled with joy and creativity. Our next steps include expanding our clay work into collaborative projects, like creating a \"mini sculpture garden,\" and continuing to explore how different tools and materials can inspire new ideas. The new cup stacking equipment has been such a blessing. The students were all so excited that they were able to use timers regularly to see how fast they could complete the stacking challenge. I was amazed to see how much it helped them to stay on task and keep trying to improve and get faster. It was great to see their excitement as they rose to the challenge to improve and could see their improvement in getting their time lower. \r\nThe students have been more focused when doing cup stacking because they can see the results as they try each time. Several kids who lost interest in stacking the cups and got off task before were now focused because they wanted to improve their time. Some who even said cup stacking was boring said it was much more fun and enjoyable now. It will be great to see the impact it will have on students in the future. \r\nThanks again for making an impact and helping our students to have this opportunity to develop skills and confidence.","fullyFundedDate":1740749852395,"projectUrl":"project/stack-stack-as-fast-as-you-can/9091736/","projectTitle":"Stack, Stack as Fast as You Can!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Hall","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8944635_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1739062687790","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8944635"},{"teacherId":3033162,"projectId":9033589,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation to our elementary art classes. With your generosity I was able to provide model magic clay in art for two elementary schools!\r\n My artists were ecstatic to use the clay for the first time this year. The upper elementary students were delighted to use their creativity to make model magic foods and dragon eyes. The lower elementary students used their clay to make \"Year of The Snake\" jungle scenes with slithering snakes.\r\n Artists are excited that we have one last clay project in the plans for the end of the year. During the last month of school lower elementary students will have the opportunity to make pinch and coil pots.\r\n Again, thank you for making this possible.
