By being able to grow a library of social emotional literacy we are able to begin to incorporate this type of learning into our daily school setting. \r\n\r\nWith our youngest learners in special education books are an important way to learn skills as they are able to associate the learnings with characters. For some of the students this was the first time they had seen a complete Mr. Potato head! They loved to be able to identify the eyes of the potato head and how they related to their eyes.
