In fact, the moment the boxes of books came, the class literally begged me to allow them to start reading!\r\n\r\nYour support in funding our project allowed my students to build their literacy skills while also helping build their confidence in reading. The books we received gave students topics that they were interested in and for many, it also provided a renewed excitement for reading. All students were able to find a new book on a topic of interest that was in an appropriate reading level. \r\n\r\nI plan to continue to add similar books to our classroom library for my students to experience. As a teacher, it is so rewarding to watch children grow as readers and to develop confidence in their reading abilities. When children are exposed to literature they are excited about, this happens naturally without them even knowing it!\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you so much for making our project a success!
