The students were so excited to receive this new resource and it is in constant use throughout the day. Not only do the jazz drummers have a practice tool that can be silently utilized during rehearsal, the elementary students use it throughout the week as well. \r\n\r\nPreviously during jazz band rehearsals, only one drummer could practice at a time and the student not performing their assigned song would just sit in the corner and wait their turn. Now the second drummer can us their time wisely and silently practice their parts even when it's not turn for their song to be performed. This has helped these budding jazz musicians make a lot of progress in mastering their concert music.\r\n\r\nWhen there is an opportunity for my elementary students to jump on the electric drum set and play along with a song we are working on, they get very excited. They love the opportunity to play a \"real instrument\" along with their peers.
