It has been difficult getting the project done in the past four weeks because of the beginning of the year testing and assessing. \r\nWe were able to do the project this week. Students finished yesterday. We began by brainstorming what a community needs to be successful. The students drew maps of their communities and began building cooperatively. It was a wonderful experience for them to work in a community to create their communities. The students loved every minute. Then the students presented their communities.
